Correct fitting hand instruments save time, improve cutting ability, increase tactile sensitivity and overall control resulting in better ergonomics, comfort, technique and safety.

If hand sizes differ greatly within the practice, the recommended solution is to buy two sets in different sizes. This ensures safety and ergonomic comfort for each user.

Using the convenient hand size guide, you can choose the Ergo Elevator handle that best suits the size of your hand. Download the Ergo Handchart and simply place your hand over the illustration, lining up your index finger and thumb with the RED line as shown.

If the width and or length of your hand fits inside the GREEN area we recommend the Ergo XS (green/purple handle - 111 mm). If your hand extends into the BLUE area, then choose the standard Ergo Elevators/ Luxators (blue/white handle - 125 mm).
