Extracting the Maxillary Fourth Premolar in Dogs

Extracting the Maxillary Fourth Premolar in Dogs

Ingrid Tundo

With this studio-filmed masterclass, Ingrid shares tips and tricks about extracting the maxillary fourth premolar teeth in dogs. This tooth is responsible for most chewing, so it often gets injured. The maxillary fourth premolar in dogs is the most difficult tooth to extract - it has three roots, and avoiding fracturing these during the extraction procedure is very challenging.

By the end of the lecture, you will feel more confident about how to design your muco-gingival flap and minimise intra-operative and post operative complications.
Ingrid also covers the equipment needed for this procedure, demonstrating her own set-up for maximum efficiency.
